Friends Association team meeting held at Hyderabad on 23rd May, 2012

Dear Friends,

This is the first time in our activities of Friends Association, a meeting that happened outside Visakhapatnam. The team strength is 17 members who gathered for the first meeting in Hyderabad.
 

Regarding Hyderabad Team:

·    Our Team is very proactive and is ready to extend its efforts in working towards Friends Association activities.

·    Team is planning to have many more meetings in the future to spread our activities rapidly in Hyderabad and across.

·    Team had an introduction with each other and discussed about the FA activities.

·    Team is planning to organize social awareness drives even in Hyderabad and are simultaneously planning to work actively towards the activities which are planned by Friends Association.

This is definitely a great team spirit given by our Hyderabad team. This first step by our team from Hyderabad made a lot of difference and even encouraged the members from other locations.

We can find the attached photograph of the Hyderabad team. Some of our team members are found to be missing on the photograph. Thanks a lot to the entire team for spending their valuable time towards the social activities.

FA organized Social Awareness Drive on the Importance of Organ Donation at Mahindra Satyam (Vizag) on 10th May,2012

Dear Friends,

Friends Association organized its First Social Awareness Drive successfully on the 'Importance of Organ Donation' at Mahindra Satyam, Visakhapatnam on 10th May,2012.

Highlights:

·     Lalitha Raghuram (Director of Mohan Foundation, India) presented a power point presentation and gave a seminar on the Importance of Organ Donation.

·     Vasudeva Rao (Incharge of Mohan Foundation operations in Vizag) even attended the drive representing on behalf of Mohan Foundation.

·     A strength of around 65 associates attended the social awareness drive and cleared their queries on Organ Donation.

·     The session is presented in a very effective way by Lalitha Raghuram which encouraged the associates to participate very enthusiastically.

·     The Leaders of Mohan Foundation, Management of Mahindra Satyam, Associates of Mahindra Satyam, Building Maintenance Staff, Networking & Security Staff, Support staff and team of Friends Association attended this Social Awareness drive and made the drive successful.

FA donated 28 pairs of Uniforms to the students of Andhra University Telugu Medium School, Visakhapatnam on 26th January, 2012

Dear Friends,
 
Friends Association conducted its First Service Oriented Event on 26th January,2012.

Venue:

Andhra University High School (Telugu Medium),

Near AU Out Gate Bus Stop, Visakhapatnam.

Highlights:

·     Attendees to the Event: Management of Andhra University Telugu Medium High School, Old students of Andhra University Telugu Medium High School, Parents of First Standard Students, Teaching Staff, Friends Association Team, Parents of the team members of Friends Association and our special guests: All the first standard students of AU telugu Medium High School.

·     Our team donated one pair of uniform to all the First Standard Students of Andra University Telugu Medium High School. First Standard Students: 16 Girls and 12 boys: 28 Students.

·     Our team is rewarded with the name: Friends Association by the public during this Event.

The success of our first event encourged and inspired the people all around to join Friends Association team and increased the number of active participants in our team. A lot of encouragement is given by the parents of our Friends Association team members which encouraged us a lot.
