Minutes of Meeting of the Annual General Body Meeting held on 26th September, 2015:

Date: 26^th September, 2015

Time: 9 AM - 10 AM

Venue: D.No. 58-14-91, Prakash Residency (Ground Floor), Marripalem VUDA Layout, Visakhapatnam. PIN: 530009.

1) As the society 'Friends Association for a Change' is showing good progress in terms of social service, all the existing board members of the society decided to continue in the board within the same designations for the year 2015-2016 with the acceptance of majority of the members of the society as well as the board members of the organization.

2) We discussed on the annual financial report of the year 2014-2015 which were audited by Mr.K.Surya Chandra (The Chartered Accountant, Kanna & Co., M.No. 229692, Guntur).

3) We appointed Mr.K.Surya Chandra (The Chartered Accountant, Kanna & Co., M.No. 229692, Guntur) as an auditor to the society 'Friends Association for a Change' for the financial year 2015-2016, with the acceptance of the majority of the members of the society as well as the board members of the organization.

The filing of the society 'Friends Association for a Change' (Society No. 587 of 2012) will be done in the first week of October, 2015 by submitting the required documents along with the audit report to the sub registrar at Visakhapatnam.

FA4C donated sports kits to ZP High School (Boys), Toopran Mandal, Medak District, Telangana on 19th September, 2015

Dear Friends,

Mee Nestham:

Friends Association for a Change donated sports kits to Zilla Parishad High School (Boys), Toopran, Toopran Mandal, Medak District, Telangana on 19th September, 2015.

We donated the sports kits as per the request from Sri Aruna - Head Master of Zilla Parishad High School (Boys) located at Toopran Mandal, Medak District.

The news was published on Sakshi paper – Medak District Local Edition on 20th September, 2015.

Our sincere thanks to:

a) Our friends Mr.Bala Kishore M, Mr.Rakesh Sunkara, Mr.Pramod and Mr.Santhosh Kottakota travelled all the way to Toopran, Medak District, Telangana on behalf of FA4C.

b) Mr.Bala Kishore drove around 150kms by providing his own car to this event. Thank you Mr.Bala Kishore for your patience and for helping our friends to have a comfortable journey as well as for transporting the sports kits to the school.

c) Mr.Rakesh Sunkara is very patient and spent his whole day with us on 19th September, 2015.Last week, he drove us to Osman Nagar Village, Medak District on 13th September, 2015. His active participation in FA4C helped us a lot.

FA4C donated 275 books, 100 pens and few puzzle games to the library of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayam, Osman Nagar Village, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Medak District on 13th September,2015

Dear Friends,

Friends Association for a Change visited Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayam (Residential Govt. School) located at Osman Nagar Vilage, Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Medak District, Telangana on 13th September, 2015.The school is located in a remote area where there is no proper transportation facility even.

The students of this school are from various categories: BC,SC,ST, BPL (below poverty line), Discontinued, Not at all educated (irrespective of age).

FA4C donated few puzzle games, 100 pens and 275 books (of various authors and publishers) related to children to the library of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayam on 13th September, 2015.

We had an interaction with the students for about 20 minutes. 

Our Sincere Thanks:

1) Mr. Durga Rakesh Sunkara for his initiative in leading the event and even for providing his own vehicle(car) for the transport of 275 books to the school (which is located 28 kms from JNTU,Hyderabad towards Medak District).

2) Mr. Suhas for donating few puzzle games and 309 books to FA4C among which 262 books and puzzle games are donated to KGBV school.

3) Ms. Samyuktha Karri for donating 13 books to KGBV school.

4) Mr. Manohar Meesala for donating 100 pens to the students of KGBV school.

5) Mr. Chappa Jagan Mohan for identifying the school and Mr. Muktheshwar Patnam for gathering their requirements.
