FA4C sponsored physiotherapy to 32 intellectually disabled students of GANAMAS organization, Hyderabad

Dear Friends,

Friends Association for a Change donated 12,000 rupees for physiotherapy to 32 intellectually disabled students of GANAMAS (Gift A Need And Make A Smile) Organization located at Radha Krishna Nagar, Borabanda, Hyderabad on 1st October,2018.

The amount of 12,000 rupees will be helpful for one complete month to provide physiotherapy to the 32 students. Our sincere thanks to our friend Ms.Sukeerthi Mulakala for donating 10,000 rupees (among 12k rupees) on behalf of FA4C.

FA4C educated 68 students in the Academic Year 2018-2019

Dear Friends,

Vidyabhyasam:

Friends Association for a Change educated 68 students (orphans, semi orphans & below poverty line) in the academic year 2018-19. The 68 students are selected from 6 government schools of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states.

FA4C gathered all the requirements of the 68 students. We donated required note books, guides/work books, uniforms, school bags, stationary, shoes/chappals, school fee etc to all the 68 students. In case of any further requirements, we will support the students throughout this academic year 2018-2019.

Friends Association for a Change conveys its sincere thanks to each and every volunteer (total 213 volunteers) who attended and coordinated the pre-final examinations of 10th standard students of Devnar School for the Blind, Hyderabad from 16th Feb,2018 to 28th Feb,2018.

FA4C conveys its sincere thanks to:

1. To the volunteers for your valuable time and efforts in serving the visually challenged students. We see people very rarely spending time to serve others now a days. But you are an initiative of change. "Be the change you want to see in the world" - Mahatma Gandhi. All the volunteers are true representatives of this statement. You are the true motivators and inspiration to the people around.

2. To the coordinators Anuradha Vedula, Sagarika K, Chandra Shekar, Siva Teja, Devi Priya Relangi, Parimala from Franklin Templeton, Abhishek from Youth for Seva, Ujwal and Chaitanya leading this program. It is not an easy task of coordinating with around 200+ volunteers resolving all their queries and on guiding them to the exam centre without their team effort. They are coordinating 40+ volunteers per day at exam center and then they are even following up 41 volunteers registered for next day examination on telephone along with identifying replacements for the dropped outs on the same day. FA4C believes that they are the true leaders who can change the society with their actions.

3. To the management, teaching and non teaching staff of Devnar School for the Blind, Hyderabad for providing us wonderful opportunity to serve students.

Friends Association for a Change donated 50 kgs rice to 'Sri Bangaru Thalli Old Age Home' located at Simhachalam Road, Visakhapatnam on 15th January, 2018.
