Vidyabhyasam: Donations done to the 12 students supported by FA4Change in the year 2014

Dear Friends,

As informed to you earlier, we selected 12 students to support toward their education in the year 2014. We already shared the complete details of the 12 students with the team.

Among the 12 students (9 girls and 3 boys):

· 4 students are from an Aided School at Visakhapatnam.

· 5 students are from Zilla Parishad School at Pathikonda Village, Chittoor District.

· 3 students are from an Aided School at Hyderabad.

Please go through the below photographs with the list of donations done by 'Friends Association for a Change' towards the education of the 12 students.

We never provide the money directly to the students/teaching staff/parents. We gathered the requirements from the school head master and teaching staff and we took the complete responsibility in purchasing and donating all the required stationary for the 12 students.

Note:

1) The stationary items like school bags, uniforms and shoes are provided to the 8 students supported by us in the year 2013. They are the items which can last for more than an year. So depending on their requirement in this year, we purchased the required stationary to the 8 old students.

2) Government bus pass is provided to girls at free of cost till they complete their 10th standard. So upon their requirements, we provided the amount to the students who needed ID card for bus pass. Whereas for boys, the government bus pass is free of cost only upto 7th standard. So we provided the amount for the ID card as well as for the bus pass of the boys whoever required it.

We provided 10 more note books to a student at Andhra University Telugu Medium High School, Visakhapatnam upon the request of the teaching staff.

Special thanks to Miss Pallavi Gandhe, Mr. Sreenivasulu Thumsi and Mr. Ramanjaneyulu who took the complete responsibility of the students in the year 2014.
