FA4C selected 56 students to support them towards their education for the Academic Year 2016-2017

Dear Friends,

Vidyabhyasam:

Friends Association for a Change selected 56 students (46 Girls and 10 Boys) to support them towards their education for the academic year 2016-2017.

We selected the students who are orphans, semi orphans and even the children having parents but living below poverty line.

The 56 students are selected from 4 schools:

1. Zilla Parishad High School, Pathikonda Village, Gangavaram Mandal, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh.

2. Madapati Hanumantha Rao Girls High School, Narayanaguda, Hyderabad, Telangana.

3. Zilla Parishad Secondary School, Rebbanapally Village, Dandepally Mandal, Adilabad District, Telangana.

4. GVMC High School, Madhavadhara, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

5. Andhra University Telugu Medium High School, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Our sincere thanks:

1) To the sponsors who came forward towards the education of 55 students.

2) To the 41 volunteers who came forward to mentor the students for the academic year 2016-2017. We will start the Mentors programme within 2 weeks from now.

3) Our friends Mr.Ramanjaneyulu K S, Mr.Sreenivasulu Thumsi, Mr.Bala Krishna Thumsi, Mr.Bala Kishore M, Mr.Shiva Teja, Mr.Koppada Lakshmana Rao and Ms. Pallavi Gandhe who worked behind in selecting and doing the back ground verification of students. We are in process of gathering and purchasing their requirements.

Few sponsors dropped from the above list of displayed images. Finally, 54 sponsors came forward to support the each student from their end out of 56 students.

We shared the complete details of the students only with the sponsors after discussing with the school head master and their parents.
