Help Save Dr. Ch. Jaya Preethi and Her Newborn Baby.
My name is Aditya and I’m humbly reaching out for help to support Dr. Jaya Preethi, beloved sister, and now a new mother, who is fighting for her life in Manipal Hospital, Vijayawada.
Just 9 months ago, Dr.Jaya Preethi began a new chapter in life with her marriage. She was recently expecting her first child when tragedy struck. What began as a lung infection quickly escalated into a life-threatening condition. She was admitted to the Critical Care Unit with ventilator support, and soon after, was diagnosed with ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) and a severe black fungal infection that has damaged 100% of her lungs.
Emergency ECMO Support & Preterm Delivery
On May 19, 2025, her condition worsened, and doctors had to initiate ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) support to save her life. On the same day, due to her critical state, she gave birth prematurely at 28 weeks to a baby girl.
The baby is underweight and fighting for survival in the MICU, requiring incubator support and continuous medication.
A Family in Crisis
In just a short span, the family has already spent over ₹40 lakhs on life-saving treatment. The current daily cost is ₹2.5 lakhs, which includes:
₹50,000 for ECMO machine rent
₹1,30,000 for ICU, ventilator, and life-saving medications
₹70,000 for neonatal ICU and baby care expenses
The doctors have advised continued ECMO and ICU care for at least 20 more days, which could bring the total cost to ₹90 lakhs.
We understand that no one can do this alone. But together, we can bring hope and healing to a mother and her newborn daughter—both struggling for life.

Instead of the treatment done to the patient Dr.Ch.Jaya Preethi during her critical condition, we are unhappy to share the information that she passed away on 10th June,2025 at Vijayawada.
Thanks to all those who financially supported her medical condition during their critical time.
Thank You,
