Dear Friends,

Upon the request from many of our friends from Hyderabad, we started to gather requirements from the villages around Hyderabad city.

On 8th November, 2014, Mr.Muktheshwar Patnam and Mr.Vinod Sravanam travelled from Hyderabad to the villages of Jinnaram Mandal, Medak District, Telangana State.

We visited:

2) Kodakanchi Village, Jinnaram Mandal, Medak District of Telangana State

3) Vavilala Village, Jinnaram Mandal, Medak District

We visited Telangana State Tribal Welfare Residential School (Boys), Jinnaram, Medak District.

This school is a government residential school cum hostel. The school comprises of classes from 5th standard to 10th standard with around 550+ students strength. About 140+ students are pursuing their 10th standard education.

We spoke to the head master Sri Ch.Venkatayya and visited the campus premises (hostel and school) along with the principal.

We have been informed by the Head Master:

1) 10th standard students are facing lack of text books in 3 subjects. The books provided by the government are insufficient in number. So the issue still exists.

2) Lack of books in the library maintained by the school.

3) Lack of laboratory Equipment in the school.

4) The school students are winners of state and district sports championships. The school had a very large ground.

5) Having problem with Water plant which was donated by Hetero Company.

6) Most Importantly that they need motivational classes to their students.

We informed the Head Master that we are ready to help the students by providing:

1) Required books to the 10th standard students.

2) Required books to the Library.

3) Required Laboratory Equipment.

4) Sports kits to the school and even ready to conduct sports to the students.

5) Providing plants if required to grow in their school premises.

6) To take motivational classes to the students.

7) And requested to conduct science fare in the school premises to encourage the skills in the students.

We also informed that all the above committed list of items will not be provided at a time to the school, but it is a step by step process even from our end. The principal informed us that he would list out the requirements of the students and will call us back soon.

We even had a half an hour interactive session with the students of 2 sections (out of 4) from 10th standard.

We will share the requirements of this school as soon as we receive the details from the head master.

Note:
Please understand that we are planning to help the students of a government school as well as the children of tribal people living across Telangana State. Education can change the lives of any family irrespective of their caste, religion and region.
