FA4C donated 20 blankets to road side living old age people of Gangavaram (M) and Palamaner town areas of Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh on 29th November,2021

Friends Association for a Change donated 20 blankets to road side living old age people of Gangavaram Mandal and Palamaner town areas of Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh on 29th November,2021.

Status update on FA4C Sankalpam - Women Empowerment Program to R.Sravanthi and G.Navaneetha at Moula Ali, Hyderabad, Telangana

 Dear Friends,

Sankalpam (Women Empowerment):

Friends Association for a Change donated sewing machines and started the training on tailoring to the two students R.Sravanthi and G.Navaneetha at Moula Ali, Hyderabad in the month of January,2021.

The tailoring training is divided into three phases. The two students completed their second level of training which took place from 19th July,2021 to 30th October,2021 at Moula Ali, Hyderabad.

FA4C paid 10,000 rupees to the trainer Mrs.Burra Shailaja for the first and second level of training till date. We tracked the students progress in learning the course and even their attendance.

FA4C will continue our support to the two students R.Sravanthi and G.Navaneetha in the third and final level of the tailoring training.

The third and last phase of training is yet to be started. Due to shop renovation/expansion work, the trainer requested to hold the training for a few days. We will start the third phase of training based on the trainer availability.

Medical Kits donated by Friends Association for a Change:

The medical kits worth 17,500 rs (wholesale rate) donated by us caters the needs of people living in surrounding 14 villages of Tallarevu, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.

The donation is done on the hands of Mummidivaram (East Godavari District) MLA Sri Ponnada Satish Kumar. We sincerely thank Ponnada Satish Kumar Garu and Ponnada Bhyarava Murthy Garu for providing us this opportunity to serve the people of Tallarevu.

FA4C donated 200 KGs groceries and 40 litres cooking oil to 20 families of Rebbanpally village, Mancherial District, Telangana on 30th Aug,2021 and on 08th Sep,2021

Dear Friends,

Friends Association for a Change donated 200 KGs of groceries and 40 liters of sunflower oil (worth 22,808 rupees) to 20 families of Rebbanpally village, Mancherial District, Telangana on 30th Aug,2021 and on 08th Sep, 2021. The 20 families are selected in specific from a village of 600 families. They are financial poor and are affected due to COVID-19.

FA4C donated 75 KG's rice bags and groceries to Mrs.Punnam Sunitha at Kukatpally, Hyderabad, Telangana on 22nd Aug,2021

Dear Friends,

Friends Association for a Change donated 75kgs of rice and groceries (total worth 10,091 rs) to Mrs.Punnam Sunitha family at Kukatpally, Hyderabad on 22nd Aug,2021.

Mrs.Punnam Sunitha's husband Mr.Punnam Venkanna passed away due to covid-19 after spending around 10 lakh rupees on covid treatment. All their financial saving are exhausted. The couple had two children (girls) studying 9th standard and intermediate in Gurukul hostels. Mrs.Sunitha is working as a house keeping assistant at a school for a salary of 7,000 rs per month. 

The family is currently facing financial crisis and requested us for groceries and rice bags.

FA4C Sankalpam - Women Empowerment Program to Mrs.Gaddam Vani at Nerada Village, Chityala Mandal, Nalgonda, Telangana started on 29th July,2021

Friends Association for a Change received one more request to support women empowerment at Chityala Mandal, Nalgonda, Telangana.

* Husband Name: Mr.Gaddam Veeraiah (passed away) 

* They have two children (one boy and one girl. Both studying intermediate).

* Mrs.Vani father and her husband father are passed away.

* Her own brother is handicapped and bed ridden.

* Old age mother is the only source of income to take care of her family.

* They live in Chityala Mandalam, Nerada, Nalgonda, Telangana.

Mrs.Gaddam Vani is interested in tailoring course and requested to help her with sewing machine and with training on tailoring.

FA4C donated sewing machine to Mrs.Gaddam Vani on 29th July,2021. (Ralson link model sewing machine with table and scissors. Total worth 7,300 rs. Warranty for 2 years).

FA4C even decided to train Mrs.Gaddam Vani on tailoring in full time starting from 02nd August,2021. 

FA4C will support the total cost of 7,000 rs tailoring training fee to train Mrs.Gaddam Vani for a span of 3 to 5 months duration (duration based on her skill pickup capability).

Trainging timings: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.

Working days: 6 days a week. Sunday holiday.

Status update on FA4C Sankalpam - Women Empowerment Program to R.Sravanthi and G.Navaneetha at Moula Ali, Hyderabad, Telangana

The two students completed their first level of training on tailoring at Hyderabad. They have been trained for 4 months duration to complete the first level of training on stitching different models of blouses. 

FA4C paid 5,000 rupees (2,500 rupees for each student) to the trainer for the first level of training. We tracked their progress in learning the course and their attendance in regular intervals of time. 

Below are the photographs of the two students displaying few models of the blouses which are stitched by them with the guidance from the trainer. The students even maintained the training records with the dimensions.


FA4C will continue our support to the two students R.Sravanthi and G.Navaneetha in the next two levels of the tailoring training.

The second level of training to the students will be started soon.

FA4C Sankalpam - Women Empowerment Program to R.Sravanthi and G.Navaneetha at Moula Ali, Hyderabad, Telangana started on 25th Jan,2021


Dear Friends,

Friends Association for a Change received a request from two students Rikkula Sravanthi and Gengili Navaneetha living at Moula Ali, Hyderabad to train them on tailoring courses and to support their self employment.
As a part of Sankalpam program (women empowerment), we decided to help the two students by training them on tailoring for 9 months duration. The training is started effectively from 25th January,2021. We even donated the sewing machines to both the students on 27th January,2021.
Friends Association for a Change paid 5,000 rupees on 25th January,2021 to the tailoring trainer Mrs.Burra Shailaja as a part of first 3 months training. The total tailoring fee of 14,000 rupees (7,000rs to each student) will be paid in 3 installments from our end to the trainer.
We will monitor the training of two students for 9 months duration by maintaining the attendance, practice records and frequent visits to the training premises.
Note: The tailoring course can be kept on hold for few days and even the timings can be changed based on the school timings/examinations of the students.

FA4C student K.Lakshmi Narasimha achieved A.P. State 7th rank in IIIT Entrance Exam in General Merit & A.P. State 1st rank in Category Merit in the year 2020

Dear Friends,
Friends Association for a Change is proud to inform that our student Konangi Lakshmi Narasimha achieved Andhra Pradesh State 7th rank in IIIT entrance examination in General Merit and Andhra Pradesh State 1st rank in category (BC-A) merit in the year 2020.



Small Gift as a token of Appreciation from School Staff

Konangi Lakshmi Narasimha passed out 10th standard from ZPH School (Telugu Medium), GLS farm, Gangavaram Mandal, Chittoor District, AP in the academy year 2019-2020. He attended IIIT entrance examination conducted by AP state government on completing his 10th standard.
Our friend Mrs.N.Siva Sirisha is the education sponsor to this child in the year 2019-2020.
His father K.Gopala Krishna is expired and his mother K.Padmavathi is living in a village earning 6k per month. This child is living with his paternal grand mother who is earning 4k per month as daily wages agricultural labor (paternal grand father is expired). He is from a financially poor background.
