FA4C team attended the '6th Annual Transplant Coordinators Workshop' Inauguration function of MOHAN Foundation at Chennai

Dear Friends,

We communicated the below invitation to our team from Chennai to attend on behalf of ‘Friends Association for a Change’.

We had a opportunity to attend the 6th Annual Transplant Coordinators' organized by MOHAN foundation at Chennai. As it is a national event it was full doctors from various parts of India invited by MOHAN Foundation.

The session was very inspirational and informative. People who had undergone organ transplant shared their experiences and thoughts on the importance of organ Donation.

The speakers explained the current shortage in demand of organ donors and requested Co-coordinators to explain the importance and emphasize on organ donation of deceased.

FA4C donated around 30 plants at Hyderabad on 11th Aug, 2013 and 24th Aug, 2013

Dear Friends,

As a part of Pragathi Program:

Friends Association for a Change donated around 30 plants to our FA4C team members at Hyderabad on 11th Aug, 2013 and 24th Aug, 2013.

We distributed around 30 plants among which few are flower plants, some grow as trees and extend their arms to provide shade and do many best things to the environment.

People have come from various places like Narayana guda, Bowenpally, ESI, Ameerpet etc travelling all the way to JNTU just with an interest on plantation.

We plant trees and that's what out motto is in this regard. We believe in a change that not only motivates our team but also helps out next generation to live happily in this place. Expecting your wonderful support as always..!

FA4C helped towards the education of 8 students in the year 2013

Dear Friends,

As a part of 'Vidyabhyasam' Program:

Friends Association for a Change helped towards the education of 8 students in the year 2013.
We paid the school fee, provided note books, stationary, uniforms and bus pass to the students as per their requirements for this complete year. The bus pass will be renewed once in every 3 months.

FA4C donated 500+ plants and 20+ packets of seeds at Visakhapatnam on 19th & 20th July, 2013

Dear Friends,

As a part of ‘Pragathi’ Program: 

‘Friends Association for a Change’ donated 521 plants, 21 packets of seeds, 7 pots and 2 bags of soil to FA4C team members (completely as per their requirements) at Visakhapatnam on 19^th and 20^th July, 2013.

 ·         The team travelled to 3 nurseries: CMR Nursery at Kommadi, VUDA Nursery at MVP Colony and Sarada Nursery at Marripalem which are in and around Visakhapatnam and purchased all the required plants on behalf of FA4C.

·         They even took care of donating the plants to our entire team till the end of the day.

 ü  Mr. Santosh Chakka and Sri Chakka Ram Mohan Rao for accommodating the plants in their residential apartment for this ‘Pragathi’ Program of ‘Friends Association for a Change’.
