Dear Friends,
Sankalpam Program (Women Empowerment Program):
Ms.P.Varalakshmi is from Pathikonda Village,Gangavaram Mandal, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh.
Husband of Varalakshmi was expired and she had 2 children (girls) who are to be taken care and are to be educated by her. Her earning of Rs.1500 per month is quite difficult to lead a family. Work on sewing machine can help her to earn better so as to educate and to take care of her 2 children.
So, Friends Association for a Change donated a new sewing machine to P.Varalakshmi on 5th March, 2015 at Pathikonda Village, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh.
Ms.Varalakshmi with her father Venkata Swamy (71 years old)
Mr.Balakrishna Thumsi (brother of Sreenivasulu Thumsi) donated the sewing machine to Ms.Varalakshmi on behalf of Friends Association for a Change.
We will even provide training on sewing machine to Varalakshmi with the help of a tailor from the same village. We will update you after the training is started.
Back ground verification of P.Varalakshmi is done by our friend Mr.Sreenivasulu Thumsi (whose native is Pathikonda Village).
